FYI to anyone looking to purchase these Elliott Smith vinyl records - the seller is trying to pass them off as original pressings but they are not. I purchased the FABOTH record he is selling and it turned out to be a repress after he positioned it to be an original. I had to return it and his behavior was exceptionally rude and he threatened me multiple times If you’re making offers on these “vintage” Elliott Smith records from this seller be forewarned you’re going to be scammed with repressings and verbal abuse from the seller

alloaomlool @karamacko luckily it was pretty clear from the evidence I submitted to Poshmark plus his abusive language towards me that he was purposefully misrepresenting the item as original when it wasn’t and Poshmark approved my return for a refund but it was quite a pain

alloaomlool @karamacko from the way he spoke to me, he clearly believes he’s smarter than the people buying from him. He not only insulted my intelligence in “thinking” I was getting an original pressing of the album - despite him fully posing it as such plus intentionally cutting off the barcode and pressing info in his photos - he then predicted I was going to damage the record in my return because I was too stupid to tape the mailer back up

alloaomlool @karamacko I sent the return back inside the original mailer, inside my own record mailer, with the record in a plastic sleeve which he didn’t even bother to include and a nice little message about how he needs to learn a thing or two about selling and packaging records 😂

alloaomlool @karamacko unsurprising, he blocked me before my return was even delivered so I had to reach out to Poshmark to make sure that wouldn’t interfere with my refund. What’s wild to me is all he has to do is mention the records aren’t originals in the listing but he won’t because he’s intentionally trying to screw people over and get away with it
