Vintage table runner

This is a gorgeous vintage piece of art. Could be used as a table runner, window valance, at an end of a girl’s bed, on a side table, anywhere you want to display such a beautiful piece. Made in the 1940s and in great condition. Perfect shabby chic/retro piece. No flaws Approximately-39” in length and 12.5” in width I’m not sure what you call this type of work... maybe crotchet, knit, or even embroidery.. if anyone knows let me know... I guess I should have asked my grandma lol
