Vintage Caro Nan 1970’s basket weave purse with a cardinal & dogwood motif.

A beautiful and unique vintage hand painted wood basket purse made in the 1970’s by Caro Nan. It features at the top a red cardinal with dogwood flowers. It has a curved wood handle. When opened, it is lined with a green and white quilted gingham fabric. It has a mirror on the inside lid. It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches high, and 5 inches deep. It is signed on the lid: Caro-Nan. It is a lovely mid century purse in great condition!
