The upper of the running shoe is constructed from Nike's Flymesh material, which secures maximum breathability and ultimate comfort. The Flymesh upper is seamless, which reduces irritation and give a more comfortable run. Furthermore, Nike has incorporated Flywire cables in the upper as an integrated part around the laces. The Flywire technology is present around the midfoot and arch, so you get a tighter fit when tightening the laces. No matter what sneaker or running shoe that you use, tightening the laces will result in pressure point on your foot. With a soft responsive low-profile IU midsole, the Nike Free RN gives you the confidence needed to run that extra mile. The insole follows the foot's natural curve and adds extra support. The heel is anatomically shaped, that enables a more natural motion when running. To provide the ultimate freedom and to allow your foot to move as it should be Nike designed a very special outsole. The sole is cut into a lot of hexagonal shapes, that all has auxetic abilities.This means no matter how you foot touchdown, the material will stretch equally in all directions distributing the impact over a larger area, helping you run that extra mile. If you flex the sole you will see the IU foam inside the sole. For enhanced traction and durability, Nike has added solid rubber segments under the front part.
