Steiff leopard cub 1954-8
Hand made with mohair. Airbrush, striped drawing.
Has all original tags.
Tag (yellow- appropriate for time period of item) and button (Rivets in buttons were not used until the 1960s. Therefore, the button attachment is accurate representation).
Gorgeous, mesmerizing plastic eyes. Plastic eyes were used by Steiff beginning in approx 1955. They switched from glass for safety reasons for children.
