redsapphira @katiedidit : add a jump ring, and a small hoop, and you had a great pair of earrings! The stones are about 10 mm.

katiedidit Or remove bails add jump rings , cool jewel stones & add 6-8 mm SS balls w/ SS omega clips w/14kt posts and solder everything closed. In 1986 while I was taking the GIA course I bought 5 pairs of 18-22 kt gold clip back large pairs of earrings. I was not proficient enough to convert them to omega clips so I put posts on them. By 1996 I had 5 single earrings left! Since then nothing gets made without omega's-nothing. I scraped the backs for more than I paid for the earrings from an estate! Live & learn.
