lifethroughlex I’m honestly thinking of moving back to eBay. The shipping tax is not only inconvenient for the buyer but also the seller because people think twice about buying when the shipping is over $5.

shadowkatt Dose the shipping really cost sellers that much when they take stuff to the post office? I feel like most the packages I have gotten are pretty small and wouldn’t cost that much. And Poshmark themselves probably keeps the difference?

m_kay @thornsberrysara I think it’d be great to offer basic (tracked) shipping plus priority. In the past, they were transparent about what shipping costs were, what they’d done to keep them down, and when they were going up. Now, they just keep slipping in increases, and it seems to be happening more often than before!

uneedthistoo It really depends on what you are shipping. Postal rates went up with usps everywhere so this is still a really good rate for bundles and shoes but is pretty expensive for small items or single pieces of clothing. The D platform also went up for large items but offered a mid weight price that made some stuff cheaper.

elleabramson @alexis_Erwin my only beef with eBay is that I found it hard to navigate. Poshmark is way more user friendly but I get why the fees are a huge turn off.

m_kay @helloduchess i feel like I’ll only buy large items now - shoes etc. but I’ve seen sales go down also, esp for smaller items. I hope they’ll offer an alt shipping option down the line!

jamieleea92 Definitely makes me want to buy only larger priced items, which sucks I love getting single pieces but I can’t see myself paying more for shipping than the item? Which also hurts us sellers because everyone is more hesitant to buy. I sell most of my things on Mer cari and E bay a few on here but I love the set up of posh and how great it is at connecting people. I wish It was like the other platforms where the seller can choose shipping or offer free shippingGreat question!!
