castamore @avch41me this one is Jadeite and the other is Jade. There is a very tiny chemical difference but it changes the price. You actually will receive the same thing to anyone’s eyes. It’s a gemologist thing on grading . Jade and Jadeite are two different gemstones but almost alike and both very hard. castamore @avch41me plus the one you bought is a rounded jade and both as heavy or thick. I have other jade the size of the one your looking at that are wider and thicker and I’m happy to help you get one of those if you would like as well. The one you bought is great for stacking another bangle with it or wearing it by itself. I have a couple of darker colors like the one you bought if your interested @castamore

avch41me @castamorez I'm not trying to be a pain. I am very unfamiliar with jade. I wanted real jade. Are you saying the one I actually purchased is not real...high grade or whatever a gemologist would classify as true jade? In other words I basically purchased costume jewelry?

castamore @avch41me oh no you purchased real jade to be sure I do not sell anything that isn’t real jade to be sure.... there are two types of chemically classified jade. One being Jadeite and one being real jade!!!! Now if you want an even thinner bangle I can have one made just let me know what color you want as they are usually green, green and white yellow green and white, pink, lavender and red . You bought authentic Jade @castamore

castamore @avch41me now if you want even thinner let me check with my carvers to see how thin they can do it.Jadeite is Jade as well as I said it is a very tiny two chemical difference that makes up the gemstone and $ much more....Most want wide ones I do have a light pink that’s lighter than the one posted and I have a thin white one that you can view. Let me take a picture and send them to your dressing room .Just let me know what color and size you desire @castamore

melissamichelll @castamore hi that is amazing thanks! Yes it all started with a fracture line and then broke one day when I fell. Ok what I’m looking for is something white lavender with some green. That sparkles like diamonds when you hold it to the light. About 6 inches/152,4mm in circumference. About 50mm diameter.

castamore @melissamichelll well I do not currently have anything that small. I’m sorry. The smallest I have is 58mm . They are green mainly with some slight white. I have some violet Bernese Jade coming in. I can get that size but it may not be exactly possible to get that exact match as each chunk is always different. There probably was a fracture somewhere when it was hand carved to widen. How much are you willing to spend so I can contact a few of my artisans. @castamore

castamore @melissamichelll that sounds just fine as I have been contacting my friends / artisans that work with raw jade and I can get you on that has a nice blen if the lavender, green and white in untreated light colors. I am assuming that is what you were talking about as it is highly sought after and I do get in a lot of Bernese jadeite and Jade. Let me know your size after you remeasure. 👍👌😊🎁 @castamore

castamore @melissamichelll hi! I received a 55 mm but it is a light untreated Jade and will fit you perfectly and it isn’t the color you had and I will send you a picture of it . I just posted it a few days ago and found our conversation. Please let me know when you get a chance as it is a really great buy as it is still Grade A untreated thick jade. @castamore

I have contacted him to correct the order but it is very small so I wanted to let you know in case you wanted it as it is grade A jade and much cheaper than I originally ordered since the wrong one was sent. But it has been reordered. It will take a bit maybe with all of this going on but everything I have is disinfected 👍 @castamore
