cherrataylor @sam95 As you can see, the boot itself is great...other than the leaking issue. They leak right above the yellowish lines above the sole. Pic 2 shoes the boot's heel pealing as well as the leather harness rolling up. Third pic is the heel of the other boot. This wearing has not happened on the back of the heel- yet but i'm leery about putting too much more wear on them. I have the warranty pack in my email to get ready and ship back but am waiting until winter is over.

cherrataylor I have had this pair for about 9 months. We had a really mild winter in 12 but this one has been crazy. I live in WV and we've gotten hit with several storms this winter. Still not like a midwest 3 feet of snow kinda winter but a long winter nonetheless! The first pair i had was in 2012 and the heel did peel some and they leaked as well. My feet get wet on the sides and in the front. Not dripping wet but more than just damp if the water/snow gets above that first seal. So if u have more than 2" on the ground they are not very effective as a snow/rain boot. Hope that helps. As for the heel, like in mentioned before, it gets scraped naturally by catching on stairs, curbs, and pebbles. I covered this pair with seche vit clear coat polish to try to slow process, but i don't know that it helped. Again- not trying to be a debby downer and if this weren't already my second pair i prolly wouldn't be frustrated with them. I will tell u that sorel's customer service has been pretty kick a**. I would tell u if u really want a pair you should buy direct or brand new from ems or rei. Sorel will honor 1 year warranty no matter where u buy as long as u buy them new;)

cherrataylor @sam95 I've searched and not found anything comparable to their style for sure! Hopefully they figure out what they ate doing wrong and fix it! Some girls, i read, were putting duct tape on the inside to stop the leaking! We are desperate to find a way to make them work! I do promise they are every bit as awesome fashionably as they look!

mylovelydeal It varies, some may start around 3000 and go up to 7k 10k and again it's a mix and styles sizes vary. Some stuff come with defects other in perfect condition.
