My wonderful husband wanted to fill my heart again so here is our sweet Olivia sent by Patton to continue his constant training of us.. I have been revived by this sweetie and we both are still mourning Patton-and celebrating Pattons choice of Olivia to help us thru. She is doing exactly as Patton wanted. I will touch all you wonderful ladies as I can. My heart is still aching, but beginning to rejoice as sweet baby Olivia goes about following Pattons instructions for us. Bless you Janet. XOXOXO

@dawnyberry Hello there, this is Olivia Gasper, our baby sent by Patton to continue training us since he was unable to remain. She has explicit instructions as to how we are to be taught. Out of all the puppies brought in for us to observe, she found us, crawled up in my lap and stayed the whole time we were there. She's a parti poodle, and will b on the small range for a standard, but that's what we were hoping for. She has a brother , Duncan a little smaller than her, we would have loved to bring home too but just couldn't hane two. Little Olivia is so smart and sweet, no accidents in house sleep like a baby, s which is what she is. Wanted to share this good news and to thank you for being there and understanding. More new and pics as she develops. She is settling in nicely. Again, Dawn I thank you. XOXOXO

@gypsyangel Hello my friend and a heart load of appreciation for you r prayers and thoughts ad posts before and during our path with our wonderful General Patton to the end.. He has left a void that cannot be filled, but he sent this lively little Olivia to continue our training. I know he gave her precise directions on how to proceed so we can learn to be as good as all our babies. Olivia chose us right away and we had gone to see a roomful of puppies-all wonderful but she came right to me, climbed into my lap and stayed the whole time-that was it. You have been such a help thru the last weeks of Pattons life and words cannot describe how much you helped me. Still soo hard but Olivia has brightened our lives. Much love to u and all your babies. @gypsyangel Hi my girl, she is so wonderful , I talk to her about Patton Our trip wasn't but about 30miles, but waay out past Stick and Plumb-twisty road, you purposely had to b going there. Wonderful family owned place, found on line Never saw so many poodle puppies and dams and sires. Had an 8 month old looked exactly like Patton, but BIG boy already. Too frisky for and big but sooo beautiful. Named Cooper. Wanted him and Olivia but had to b sensible ( dang it). Olivia had chosen us and we were thrilled so Cooper will make a fine sire right where he is. Found this place and was very impressed-it's listed at renownedpoodles.com. I is us warming my foot as we speak, Angel I just know Patton had a hand in choosing her to carry on his work w/us. Meant Olivia above. Tears still make hard to focus. Many thanks for ALL u do and for tagging ladies to our new precious little Olivia. XOXO Angel and to ALL your charges:))

@tomalee OMG I am so excited for you! She is adorable!! I love her name too. I know GP is watching over. Wanted to tell you, if I haven't yet, that my breeder recommends a dog food called Solid Gold. We get it at the feed store. She says she has never had a Poodle get cancer. I lost two to cancer and they were eating Pedigree. Mercedes lived to be 1 month short of 17 and that was the only food she ever ate. Love to you the hubs and Olivia.

@dawnnesbitt Oh thank you Dawn, Al named her. Love that. We went to Tractor Supply Co. Yesterday and of course couldn't remember and no cell phone, so I'm glad u told me again. Got her a small bag of a good puppy mix, but certainly want to get Solid Gold. So amazing ur angel Mercedes lived right at 17 yrs. that's a very long time for a large dog-wow. Will b in touch later, I have a lot of sweet poshers I want to touch with for being so supportive and kind during General Pattons sickness XOXOXO. later my friend.

The pain lingers, as you have recently lost ur precious Nick, and I'm sorry for your loss. We go on but there's a void. We were lucky that we were able to be "found" by this sweet Olivia. FYI, I live in South Carolina and we have been hit with a couple of inches of ice, then snow, ice, snow....and I will ship your packages as soon as they let us on the roads. @tomalee Thank you for understanding. So funny about having to shovel, I used to have a Yorkie, and she was the same way. That little girl hated to go out in rain, but snow....oh my Lord! It was crazy. I've got my Black Lab, Callie and she's the real princess. She sleeps inside, and comes in whenever she feels like it. I have 2 German shepherd/hound mix boys that someone threw out at our farm when they were about 4 weeks old. Poor little things were eaten up by fire ants and one had an obvious rib injury. Now my big boys, junior (90 lbs)..I think we chose the wrong name for him, lol...and Charlie (75 lbs) are the best guard dog one could have. They are a handful but you've gotta love those furry babies.

@vdsmay Hey friend , no apology needed, we furry lovers understand each other, so it was just a matter of time befor we got around to discussing losses, broken hearts, gut wrenching caterwals, etc. My sweet hubby who has to wait a long time to get another baby, was afraid I wasn't going to get over General Patton, said he was ready before a week passed and said lets start looking. We usually have two at a time, his and mine, but at our age, not practical. But we lost Al big black boy Rocky in Dec 22, 2012 then not a year later found Patton had cancer, so we did get a chance to spoil him about 2 months befor his time came. Any way, Olivia has made our lives bright again. So we understand each other vet well, you and I. We r going to have a crowd of babies running to greet us when we pass, Meantime, we live and love Olivia was great choice for us. Thanks for letting me ramble on. @vdsmay Somehow I missed this post-love labs and germs shepherds -well most all dogs as a matter fact, but do have my favorites. Lol on Juniors name. Most times folks will name BIG dogs Tiny or Lil one just to b funny, but who knew junior would b a giant. Aren't your shepherds and u lucky they were dropped at ur place-the do make great guards. @clammymandi It does take some time to decide to bring another furry into your life. My husband can't for a couple of years-but me I can't get thru my grief until I have a baby to take care of and something I'm forced to care for. We list two of our furries within 14 months of each other--our last one was diagnoses w/cancer Inoperable tumor pressing on his esophagus. We were able to have about two months w/ him and we spoiled him .. Anyway, when Olivia chose me, and here we are. When you decide to get another furry member of your family, let me know , I'll b thinking of you and knowing how you are feeling. Nice to chat w /you and good luck to y'all. :)):))

@randikandi Well glory bee, I was just fixin to message you, my bestie. :)). Yes, she was 8 weeks old and little over 7 lbs. now she's neat 7 months and 40 lbs. I'll put up another pic in a few days so you can see what she's growing into. How have you been? I've been thinking about you and finally took the time to get into your closet. U got a lot of nice things-I'm still just limping along-buying. Lol. I've got 2 rooms loaded w/items to post and just don't get to it. It's so overwhelming, I don't know where to start-so I just close the doors and get on posh. I really need to get my rear in gear and just do it so I can pay off my credit card. Lol.
