lillymarie10 Home espresso machines should ideally apply 9 bars of pressure to the coffee grounds for optimal extraction, producing the best flavor and crema. While many machines advertise 15–20 bars, this refers to the maximum pump capacity, not the actual pressure applied to the coffee.
