Cosmic Wonder was created by Yukinori Maeda in 1997 and has been a conceptual project that encompasses many modes of expression. From clothing to artwork, to publishing and even performance, there is nothing they haven't experimented with. In 2016, Cosmic Wonder moved their studio to a traditional house and workshop in Miyama, a remote village in the mountains of north Kyoto that is a national preservation for historic buildings. Dedicated to sustainability, this transition has enhanced their work, as their garments are designed with natural materials while using traditional Japanese techniques. This skirt is A-Line Cut, gathered waist; No Pockets; Side hidden zipper closure with covered snap; Embroidered Cosmic Wonder Branding at Back; Mid-Weight woven material. Content tag is unreadable, but feels like a linen/silk/cotton blend with a slight texture to the weave. In very good pre-owned condition with no visible damage, stains, snags.
