Just sharing with some snow bird friends what is normal here. I can’t even show them now after these last two weeks of never before weather we had. I have a gentleman helping clean up progress out back now . I still have good many green plants survived in cazebo w/4 heat lamps but pretty much lost my tropical 🌴 plants 🏝

cowgirl4872 @kutterbest they look good considering the cold. They are beautiful. If you can cover your plants with sheets when you hear you having freezing weather they’ll survive.

kutterbest @cowgirl4872 it got,too,cold,to,survive the freeze under the sheets.-anythungnthat could move went into,the green house or gazebo and zipped up,fifth sithmrhree heat lamps each. The rest in ground was covered with different things depending on what they were. It no,sheets. They would just freeze onto the plants when the sleet snow and wet period froze it all and it in the low teens for 4 days straight; unheard of. I saw we were colder than Minnesota . lol

cowgirl4872 @kutterbest that is absolutely crazy 😜. When I lived in Alamosa Colorado it’d get down to 30 below zero and we covered our roses with ggunnysacks and they survived the cold. But you’re lucky to have a greenhouse to utilize for your plants.

cowgirl4872 @kutterbest yes it was. Thankful I moved to the Northern part of Colorado where it’s not so cold and don’t get as much snow. And more places to shop lol.
