horizons @jdotsen Hi. this is a way to ensure customers receive items in the condition they were described in the post. I have read others Posher’s post and they were scammed. The customers stated the items were not as described and there was nothing wrong with the items. If a customer decides to open a case against you, then you can forward your recordings/pictures to prove your side. If you have any additional questions, then please let me know. Happy Poshing 🙂

cheriechi @horizons Wow...this is good to know but also a bit upsetting. Have you been scammed? Have the people been scammed on low ticket priced items or just large ticket price? horizons @crayola8co Hi, I read from other Posher’s posts and they stated people would order items and would damage them intentionally. Then, they open a case against the person claiming the item was sent to them damaged. If you have pictures/recordings, then you can send Poshmark the information to help prove your side of the case.

I just fall into this same problems too with a buyer claiming I sent him shoes instead of a watch he purchased without even receiving the item yet, which item is still in transit about 3days ago, hopefully poshmark can have a resolution to deal with all this scammers with false accusations and lies.

anglyons50 I do the same! There really isn’t any protection for the seller especially during that 3 day window the buyer has, what’s to say they don’t use you new item then claim it was sent in used condition 😠 some ppl are shady unfortunately. Reposting this, hope you don’t mind! 🙂

aprilmene Thank you so much for this post. I came over to Posh Mark after being with eBay for many years. I had a bad experience where a scammer wore my high end shoes than tried to get a refund after scratching them all up. Fortunately, I took a lot of pictures before I sent them to her.
