I joined Poshmark 4 months ago today (November 28, 2016). I started selling as soon as I joined, and immediately fell in love with this website! I have learned about how to run a business and make a profit, Poshmark etiquette, how to bargain with sellers, how to take great pics of my items, and later on- following Posh Parties, receiving host picks, making friends on here, etc..I've joined 3 FB groups that help me learn even more! lcfrogs @gunner1215 Do you have any apps on your phone that are meant for writing memos? That's what I've been using. Mine came with my phone. But there are plenty of apps out there too. Just use a memo app, write a tag list memo, and then I just copy/paste into PM. Have you gotten anymore HP's?

lcfrogs @gunner1215 Look into the iPhone apps Microsoft OneNote, EverNote, and SimpleNote. They have high ratings. I use an Android so I had to look it up on Google lol

lcfrogs @gunner1215 Ugh!!! I actually know what that feels like. I had a feeding tube surgically placed in my stomach, and they had to cut through the core muscles too. I couldn't move either. Most painful experience I've ever had! And I couldn't take very strong pain meds, because I'm allergic to them. It sucked. But I was mostly able to walk and get around after a week or so. I hope you get better even sooner! 💞💞💞

lcfrogs @edgestyle Hmm...I have Android. Does iPhone have the app Snapseed in the store? It's free. I use it sometimes, but usually I just use my pic editor that came with my phone. All I really do is adjust the exposure and sharpness, sometimes the shadows. But Snapseed has a feature where you can erase the shadows, like when you're doing a flat layout.

edgestyle @lcfrogs my husband downloaded a editing app I use. I guess I want to go a little more fancy. Be able to add my logo or the brands logo. Just make my boutique a real nice boutique! I have brands that will give me the pics with wholesale orders got that down. I will try that one you suggested and get w/ my hustband. Thank you for your help. 😘😍😘

lcfrogs @edgestyle I also use an app called textgram. That's how I get fonts and stuff on my pics. I don't know if iPhone has that. Get some rest!!! 💞💞💞

lcfrogs @dsf58 I'm currently in 3 groups: Poshmark, Poshmark Analytics Sandbox, and Poshmark Thrifters. I don't really participate in the second one, but it's good for people just starting out. fccandles @lcfrogs thank you for the shout out😍 so if I can recommend one app for easy photos it would be FotoRus. You can do EVERYTHING w/ that app. I used Snapseed but found it time consuming. It was free when I downloaded but I believe it's 1.99 now. Well worth. Also the photo edit that comes w/ apple is great 👍🏼

lcfrogs @dsf58 Do you thrift shop? That's what most poshers do on here. It's really a lot more fun that using the wholesale portal on here. I've decided to only thrift, so I'm trying to get rid of my boutique items.

I have thought about boutique but I think that what I like the most about Posh is reusing what is already out there and not buying boutique items from China to resell. I like the reuse and recycle approach. And it's so much fun just to see what is out there!

lcfrogs @dsf58 I totally agree! And I'm very particular when I select my thrift buys. Even if they're new, I thoroughly inspect them for any flaws. So I usually see a lot of good stuff, but after thorough inspection, I end up only leaving with 4 or 5 items lol.

lcfrogs @jess3576 I haven't sold anything in TWO weeks! I'm thinking I need to relist a ton. But that sounds so time consuming! Even if I do relist, is there anything else I can do to increase my chances? I used to sell something almost every day when I first started, then for awhile I was selling twice a day, on average. She now sales have been decreasing for awhile. Maybe I'm not sharing enough?

jess3576 @lcfrogs I do think that this may be a common theme right now, I can't sell a thing either! When I was selling a lot, I'd share my entire closet 3 times a day. So sharing does help, and relisting does too. It's so time consuming 😥 I did probably 15 the other day

lcfrogs @jess3576 It's so weird! I wonder why there are dry spells for all sellers at the same time? I just relisted an item. I'm planning on relisting some more. I'm changing the prices too. I also used to share way more than 3 times a day, and now some days I don't share at all. So I guess I need to get on it again!

A man I've started dating is a business major and taught me all kinds of tactics last night. So I'm trying to take both yours and his advice to improve my sales. Thank you! 😘💞💞💞
