Do you expect your designer purse purchase to arrive SMOKE SMELL FREE?? Sorry for the caps, I'm just a little upset right now. And, opinions.... GO :D PS The purse was a Furla candy bag and described almost new used once. NOT to forget to mention the LV Speedy 30 I traded for :((

I just received a FURLA Candy bag purchased for my mom and she is seriously allergic to a lot of things-strong perfumes, smoke, etc. The bag smelled intensely strong of smoke. I contacted the seller to know there was a problem, tried to be professional and courteous. She responded in all CAPS and ended up blocking me. I did not have "SMOKE FREE HOME" on my page until now. I feel if you advertise an item as "As new and used once" that it would be as new and used once. Please feel free to share this listing and tag others and discuss. I feel if as if this should be mentioned, but maybe I am naive to not ask as I don't smoke. :D Thanks for your time and Happy New Year and Happy Poshing. <3

bellafiore4 @azulpacifica ok I agree and I'm a smoker but none of my bags smell like cigarettes what the heck they must put clipped cig in there bags mine are hardly used do to working retail plus I don't smoke in the house I have same problem but diff situation I bought a used fendi for 160 was told there was no stains and just one fray on back the bag is not what I expected it has a huge stain inside and holes on the flap and corners honestly I feel it should of been said or told when I asked that's what makes buying on here difficult now I'm waiting on posh who wanted to give me 25 credit I said no so I feel for you it's not right at all

azulpacifica @bellafiore4 Wow! That's all the credit they wanted to give?? That's terrible. 😣 I had one other transaction where I was able to return and one of my clients in my town had an issue and was able to return everything. Makes me nervous they won't refund my (mom's) money.

azulpacifica @chriswalling Well, Posh's first email was to offer $20 back. I wrote back and said I would really like to return it and would be happy to pay the shipping. Then I got an email and they want me to send it to Posh for them to further investigate. It's been "airing" out in the garage, but still smells of smoke. Not as much as when it arrived, but enough to bother my mom. :/ I'll keep this updated... Cross your fingers for me. <3

azulpacifica @bellafiore4 I told posh I was willing to pay to return. They offered to have me ship to Posh at their expense to 'investigate further.' I say, stand your ground and let them know how you feel. Take good pictures to show them, too.

janetslasvegas @azulpacifica Girl, I would have been super pissed! That's like asking for a non smoking hotel room & getting a smoke filled one...yak! Smells horrible! If you ever have the need again - dry cleaners really do work but kind of pricy. I also found that Scentsy sells a spray called Odor Out. It totally works! I don't travel without a can after my last rental car! So happy for you that you got a refund :o] Good Job at being persistent ;)

azulpacifica @janetslasvegas I just couldn't believe how someone wouldn't mention it. 😱 Dry cleaners can clean purses? I ended up with a LV Speedy 30 that is in vintage shape but also had a very strong smoke smell. I've been working on her, and cleaning the lining. But I may need to look into that odor out, it works better than Febreeze?

janetslasvegas @azulpacifica It works way better than Febreeze! I sprayed the rental car, left it overnight & no more smoke. Works really good on my boyfriend's stinky work boots, too ;o] Let me know if you need help finding some.

heidihoney I agree, nothing should ever "reek" of smoke unless it's discussed ahead of time, however, I abd other poshers have been having issues with our packages arriving smelling like smoke even though neither of us smoke, the usps drivers/workers smoke in the trucks, etc. Our package passes thru so many hands/makes so many stops, and unfortunately sometimes my packages arrive with a smoky smell from women I know don't smoke, this just happened to one of my friends so I had to chime in! I have spoken to usps about this and they could care less! It's very unfortunate!

heidihoney I totally believe you and I have been in that situation before where it smells so strong I'm like wtf? Lol, so I agree with you, people should disclose that ahead of time! However I'm really irritated with the postal service for allowing this
