Martingale Harness Medallion Solid Brass Equestrian Horse Decoration Cottagecore brass medallion was a decoration for a draft or shire work horse. now they are used for saddle decorations at parades. they are also collected as home decor for farmhouse chic, old money or a cottagecore look. this martingale medallion has a stylized tulip in the center. it is a big 4" long and has a few small dings and scratches showing its long history. most likely hand stamped, circa 1960s britain. i have seen these worn on a cord for a boho look at a festival and at all those renaissance fairs i have attended as a costume accessory. from a smoke free, child and pet loving home. all sales are final.
