Stunning collection piece for any tea cup collection, produced from 1934 to roughly the late 1940's this Federal Glass pattern is from the Normandie line also called lattice and bouquets. The pressed glass pattern is of a garden lattice and daisy bouquets and was produced in several colors including this one called Starburst. This series is often confused as carnival glass, but it is not produced the same way. Instead this true depression glass is pressed as clear glass and then sprayed in the iridescent orange color (Marigold) & re-fired making no two pieces alike. This particular piece has a lovely glow and very pronounced rainbow iridescence.
