The Zulus, who are a very proud nation are renowned for their craftsmanship and artistry. They are also the largest tribe in the southern Africa. Many women on the rolling Hills of KwaZulu Work from their homes, making traditional Zulu baskets. Zulu baskets are made by hand using natural raw materials obtained in their area. They are able to carry on their normal daily lives collecting water and planting in the fields as well as attend to their children. These women have managed to turn the making of baskets into a home industry thus supplementing their income and for some this is their only form of income.
